The Most Incredible Story you may ever hear

The Most Incredible Story you may ever hear-- Paralyzed Student Walks at his Graduation ceremony Using a Robotic device; The crafty Robotic Legs called “The Exoskeleton” developed by the Iranian professor at Berkeley university... Austin Whitney has been unable to walk since a 2007 car crash left him paralyzed, but on Saturday the 22-year-old triumphantly walked across the stage to accept his degree with the help of the specially crafted “Robotic Exoskeleton” developed by the Iranian– born professor Dr Homayoon Kazerooni. Dr. Kazerooni had designed this extraordinary Robotic system with lightness and full functionality in mind, with a computer and a rechargeable eight-hour battery. Austin Whitney had spent nine months working with Homayoon Kazerooni’s lab “called the KAZ LAB” the creator of the HULC exoskeleton and the eLegs rehabilitation system, in order to improve the prototype specified to his personal needs. Whitney used a controller switch on the walker to direct the Exoskeleton, which was strapped around his legs. It swung his legs forward moving him toward Chancellor and Prof Kazerooni, who was also present at his graduation ceremony giving him a hug!!!! After the ceremony, Whitney said: He thought he would never be able to walk again, calling the Exoskeleton the greatest gift anyone has ever given him, thanking Prof. Kazerooni..(You may want to watch a video of this most amazing story...) -- Salutes to all doctors who truly care about their patients..Salutes Dr Kazerooni...
