Soltani M.D. Summary: Huge ovarian cyst in a 24 year old woman had been led to the reccurent urinary retention . Main Description. Case: The patient is a 24 year old woman with history of right vesicoureteral reflux in childhood period that resolved spontaneously, presented by dribbling and incomplete emptying feeling of bladder. From two years ago, because of urinary retention, foley catheter was inserted for three times. Ultrasonography reported distended bladder and bilateral mild hydroureteronephrosis and first computerized tumography confirmed this diagnosis. Urodynamic study was concomitant with no significant abnormality exception of mild bladder dyssynergia. Her symptoms were slightly improved with tamsolosin and baclofen but two months later , she returned with urinary retention. Extraordinary event was no significant urinray volume after catheterization, so suspicion to incorrect previous report of CT scan and ultrasonography was raised and imaging repeated. VCUG : No vesicoureteral reflux . Ultasonography : 104 * 144 mm Folicular cyst with smooth and tiny wall probably due to mocinous cyst or psoudocyst adenoma. CT SCAN : 70*150*154 mm pelvic cyst and bilateral hydroureteronephrosis. Tumor marker: AFP : normal - CA-99 : normal - CA-125 : normal. Surgical procedure : With low midline incision, large ovarian cyst was exposed
