inflamed Meckel's diverticulum

an inflamed Meckel's diverticulum that was diagnosed because of development of Hemorrhage in the patient; and the segment of small intestine that contained the diverticulum was surgically removed. 
(Meckel's diverticulum is a rare congenital diverticulum located at the distal ileum, with the pouch itself approximately 2.5-6 cm. It's usually not diagnosed or diagnosed by chance; unless the patient develops symptoms, i.e. abdominal pain, hemorrhage)
