Another life changing surgery by Dr Parsa & Dr Ordon -
Elena, a 21 y.o. from the Republic of Moldova was born with an oculofacial deformity (Congenital malformation of eyelid and maxilla.) Because of her condition Elena could not fully close her eyelids and had constant eye irritation. She has had more than six surgeries in her native country but there was nothing more they could do for her.
She still pursued her dream of “looking normal” and refused a lifetime of physical & emotional challenges, when she was helped by the surgeons at the “SURGICAL FRIENDS FOUNDATION”.. The renowned Iranian Oculoplastic surgeon Dr. Kami Parsa and the well-known plastic surgeon Dr. Drew Ordon - of The Doctor’s Show- collaborated on a series of difficult reconstructive surgeries and performed this life-changing surgery on Elena.
Dr. Parsa and Dr Ordon had established the Surgical Friends foundation with the mission to provide free of charge reconstructive surgery to young people living difficult lives who do not have access to medical treatment.
